Abstract
PURPOSE: Triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index is a reliable and inexpensive alternative indicator of insulin resistance. Previous studies have shown that elevated TyG index increases the risk of diabetes, coronary heart disease, and other diseases, but the relationship between TyG index and cardiac hemodynamics in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is not clear. This study was conducted in patients with T2DM to assess the relationship between TyG and cardiac hemodynamics and its predictive ability for T2DM.Entities:
