Abstract
BACKGROUND: Prescription of antioxidants might increase the quality of sperm parameters and improve the rate of pregnancy in obese people who suffer from infertility. Therefore, the present study investigated protective effects of vitamin A, E and astaxanthin on sperm parameters and seminiferous tubules epithelium in high-fat diet model.Entities:

In the control group, the seminiferous tubules cells were arranged normally without any increase in basement membrane thickness, B: HFD + Antioxidants group and spermatogonia pointed with the arrow, C: Seminiferous tubules in HFD group. Basement membrane thickness and number of spermatocyte I increased in this group
