Abstract
Several magnetic resonance imaging methods for measuring blood flow have greatly enhanced the capability of magnetic resonance imaging as a physiologic tool in cardiology. This article concentrates on phase-related techniques. Magnetic resonance velocity mapping is a flexible, robust, and accurate method of obtaining functional information in the cardiovascular system. It has the potential to contribute significantly to clinical decision making, and it should be a routine part of cardiovascular imaging whenever information on flow is required.Mesh:
