A Bonferroni correction was made for 8 demographic variables (Respondent, age, marital status, SES, income, underlying health problem no of children and country of origin). For clarification, parents of 4 children with a diagnosis of ADHD and parents of 3 children with a diagnosis of ASD were included in the “non‐clinical” group, as they had reported a clinical cut‐off score on the Conduct Problems scale or on the Hyperactivity/Inattention Problems scale of the Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), which did not meet the clinical cut off scores, at Time 1.
Abbreviations: ADHD, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; ASD, Autistic spectrum disorder; f, frequency; M, Mean; SD, Standard deviation; SES, socio‐economic status.
