Abstract
BACKGROUND: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) can usually be well controlled by health education and lifestyle management, resulting in better pregnancy outcomes. However, standard clinical prenatal care, which consists of clinic visits every 2 weeks, may not provide sufficient management for women with GDM.
