Abstract
Background: The US Dietary Guidelines will expand in 2020 to include infants and toddlers. Understanding current dietary intakes is critical to inform policy. Objective: The purpose of this analysis was to examine the usual total nutrient intakes from diet and supplements among US children.Entities:

Values are mean percentages ± SEs of children taking supplements during a single 24-h recall.
Values are means ± SEs of nutrients from supplements among supplement users during a single 24-h recall, with the number of observations in brackets.
Sample size too small (n < 10) to make meaningful estimate.
Denotes the mean exceeded the Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL). The UL established from 1998 DRI book for thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B-6, folate, vitamin B-12, and others (26).
