Abstract
OBJECTIVE: The aims of this study were to measure and compare the facial dimensions of the Miss Korea pageant contestants and a selected group of women from the general population by using three-dimensional (3D) image analysis, as well as to compare various facial ratios to the golden ratio within each group.Entities:

Comparison of facial dimensions between the Miss Korea (MK) and general population (GP) groups
Values are presented as mean ± standard deviation.
*Analyzed using MANOVA; adjusted p-values using the Holm-Bonferroni method for multiple comparisons.
Comparison of the canons and proportion index (PI) between the groups
Values are presented as mean ± standard deviation.
Within each group, values of the canons were compared the neoclassical standards, and values of PIs were compared to the golden ratio.

*Independent t-test, †one-sample t-test; adjusted p-values using the Holm-Bonferroni method for multiple comparisons.
