Abstract
Systematic, slow variations of the amplitude and frequency of spontaneous otoacoustic emissions in human ears, occurring over the first 20-30 min of recording, are described. Experimental observations suggest that these variations may arise from a centrally mediated, bilateral influence on the mechanics of the ear.Entities:
