Abstract
BACKGROUND: The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is the framework developed by WHO to describe functioning and disability at both the individual and population levels. While condition-specific ICF Core Sets are useful, a Generic ICF Core Set is needed to describe and compare problems in functioning across health conditions.Entities:

Figure 2Inter-correlated ICF categories in chapter 1 mental functions. Values next to the arrows represent the inter-correlations of the ICF categories. Values between brackets and cursive represent the correlation of the corresponding ICF category with item 1 of the SF-36.
Figure 3Inter-correlated ICF categories in the component body functions and activities and participation. The discontinued arrows refer to inter-correlations among/between the ICF categories that belong to the same ICF chapter. The continued arrows refer to inter-correlations of ICF categories from different chapters. Values next to the arrows represent the inter-correlations of the ICF categories. Values between brackets and cursive represent the correlation of the corresponding ICF category with item 1 of the SF-36.
