Abstract
With the growing use of endovascular therapy for intracranial aneurysms, it is important that we understand at a cellular level the processes that lead to lesion obliteration. We present autopsy findings, including electron and light microscopic studies, of a basilar artery aneurysm that was successfully embolized with the Guglielmi detachable coil system 4 weeks before the patient died.Entities:
