Abstract
A review of the CT and MRI features of stroke imaging is presented. The pathophysiology of stroke is discussed as a basis for understanding the neuroimaging findings. Neuroimaging is divided according to the time interval between ictus and imaging: hyperacute, acute, subacute, and chronic. Newer MR stroke imaging techniques such as perfusion imaging and diffusion-weighted imaging are presented.Entities:
