Abstract
From May to November 1991, a dietary survey in form of a 24-h-recall questionnaire was carried out in Zurich. For the first time, food data from a large, voluntary, undefined, selected collective was acquired (n = 3653). The mean dietary fiber intake of the women was 30 g/day and of the men 33 g/day, which is comparable with various literature data. These values show a positive trend in the eating habits of the population. The dietary fiber intake was also considered in relation to the origin of the fibers.Entities:
