Abstract
We demonstrate that trans-dominant negative rev mutants are able to suppress simian immunodeficiency virus provirus replication in both transient cotransfection assays and stably transduced HUT 78 cells. These studies suggest that the efficacy of trans-dominant rev strategies in reducing viral burden may be evaluated in a simian immunodeficiency virus-rhesus macaque animal model.Entities:
