Abstract
Two cases with postoperative acute acalculous cholecystitis diagnosed by computed tomography (CT) and ultrasonography are described. This rare postoperative complication is briefly reviewed. The mortality from this complication is high because the diagnosis is often missed. Use of diagnostic tools such as ultrasonography and CT increases the possibilities of reaching a correct diagnosis and therefore improves the prognosis.Entities:
