Abstract
An evaluation of 212 24-hour dietary intakes showed than an assessment using a nutrient adequacy score and comparing actual nutrient intakes to Recommended Dietary Allowances was similar to an assessment with a dietary score based on food groupings. This suggests that the simple dietary score can be substituted for the more complete and time-consuming dietary analysis when program effectiveness is evaluated.Mesh:
