Comparison of two different methods of polishing porcelain.

C Bessing, A Wiktorsson.

Abstract

The surface roughness of polished porcelain was investigated. The results showed that no significant differences between the two polishing methods used were found. The two evaluation methods, surface roughness measurements and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), are discussed and some recommendations are given.
