Phospholipase-induced crystallization of channels in mitochondrial outer membranes.

Abstract

When outer membranes from Neurospora crassa mitochondria are treated with low levels of phospholipase A2 under continuous dialysis, two-dimensional crystalline arrays of the pore protein component of these membranes are formed.
