Abstract
T4 phage transfer RNAs recognize the previously assigned codons for a given amino acid; however, they tend to prefer code words that are less well recognized by their host. The phage transfer RNAs are more effective in polypeptide synthesis with T4 rather than Escherichia coli messenger RNAs.Entities:
