Abstract
23 fresh type II (Neer 1963) lateral clavicular fractures, were treated operatively. In 19 cases fixation was done with two Kirschner wires, in four cases plating was performed. The coracoclavicular ligament was left unsutured. The average follow-up period was 4.5 (1-12) years. In 22 cases out of 23 the subjective outcome was good or satisfactory. 22 fractures united and there were few complications.Entities:
