Abstract
Background: Diet property grounded on inflammatory potential, evaluated by the dietary inflammatory index (DII), has been proven to be connected with mortality, while studies of adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are scarce. Models were adjusted for race, waist circumference, stroke, coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure, eGFR, urinary albumin, urinary creatinine, hemoglobin, serum vitamin B12, albumin, serum glucose, phosphorus, uric acid, hypertension, physical activity, chronic kidney disease, except for the stratification factor itself.
