Abstract
BACKGROUND: The incidence of type 2 diabetes (T2D) in adolescents is increasing, affecting the overall health and quality of life of adolescents and their families. Despite the serious health consequences of T2D, few studies have explored the role of parents in the prevention of prediabetes and T2D in adolescents. Thus, the purpose was to better understand parents' insights into strategies needed for the development of interventions to prevent prediabetes and T2D in their adolescents and families.Entities:
