BACKGROUND: Epidemiological data on alcohol-related cognitive disorders are scarce. Up-to-date population-based incidence and mortality rates for Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome (WKS) and alcohol-related dementia (ARD) are necessary to understand the burden of these diseases.Entities:
