Abstract
BACKGROUND: Transoral endoscopic vestibular thyroidectomy (TOEVT), a variant of natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery, offers a scar-less thyroid to young females. However, few studies have compared the effectiveness and quality of life (QoL) outcomes of the TOEVT with open thyroidectomy (OT). This is the first study in the Middle East and North Africa region that compares the effectiveness, safety profile and QoL outcomes between TOEVT with OT.Entities:
