Abstract
Low expression levels and stoichiometric imbalances of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are often used as evidence for their probable lack of function or for limiting the scope of their potential influence. Recent advances in our understanding of the substoichiometric functions of lncRNAs challenge these notions and suggest routes through which unabundant lncRNAs can affect cellular functions and gene regulatory networks.Entities:
