FIGURE 2Pyramid plot of outcomes by patient age and race. The pyramid plot shows patients with COVID‐19 stratified by age and race. With increasing age, particularly after age 60, severe COVID‐19, requiring mechanical ventilation or experiencing mortality, correspondingly increased. Compared to White, non‐Hispanics other racial and ethnic groups of the same age included in our study experienced a higher proportion of mechanical ventilation and death.
