HLA phenotypes and bullous cutaneous reactions to drugs.

J C Roujeau, C Bracq, N T Huyn, E Chaussalet, C Raffin, N Duédari.

Abstract

Drug induced toxic epidermal necrolysis and Stevens-Johnson syndrome are weakly associated with HLA-B12. Among patients reacting to a given drug we observed stronger links, especially for HLA-A29; B12; DR7 and sulphonamides.
