Abstract
Corynebacterium striatum is an emerging Gram-positive bacillus associated with invasive infection in both immunocompetent and immunocompromised patients, especially associated with medical devices. Its ability to form biofilms has been demonstrated and it has been occasionally associated with cardiac device-related infective endocarditis with few cases described in literature. We report a case of C. striatum cardiac device-related infective endocarditis of complex management.Entities:
