Results obtained following the alternative confirmation were identical to results obtain from confirmation by FDA/BAM Chapter 5 and USDA/FISIS-MLG 4.10 reference method. Only the raw beef trim was tested against the USDA/FSIS-MLG 4.10 reference method. All other matrices were tested against FDA/BAM chapter 5.
