Figure 2Joint association of obesity and age (≤50 and >50 years) with severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) on admission in the Mexican population. The reference group for comparisons was composed of subjects without obesity who were 50 years of age or younger. Odds ratios were adjusted for age (years), sex, smoking status, history of chronic diseases (hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, immunosuppression, place of care, unit of the system of selected health units that monitor respiratory diseases (USMER), date of symptom onset, and drug treatment.
