Carbohydrate fermentation pattern was tested by AP 50 CH; the sequence similarity of 16S rDNA of isolates were compared with sequences from each type strains of LAB held in the GenBank.
Figure 1Phylogenetic tree showing the relationship between the 16S rDNA sequences of rod-shaped LAB strains obtained in this study. Numbers at nodes are bootstrap values based on a neighbor-joining bootstrap analysis with 1,000 replications. Bacillus subtilis is used as the outgroup. The bar indicates 1% sequence divergence.
