The number of minutes between that time and the time the note is available to be viewed by others is a study outcome. This interval is determined by the time the voice file is dictated. If dictated immediately after seeing the patient on rounds (preferred workflow, Patients 1 and 2) it is short; if dictated at the end of the day (Patient 3), it is much longer (A).
