Abstract
Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) places a heavy burden on the healthcare system worldwide. The risk factors may vary by body adiposity. We aimed to investigate the associations of socioeconomic, environmental, and behavioral factors with CKD in different groups of body mass indexes (BMI).Entities:

Abbreviations: CKD, chronic kidney disease; SD, standard deviation; BMI, body mass index; WC, waist circumference; TCM, traditional Chinese medicine; PA−METs, physical activity measured in metabolic equivalents (min/week). * Data were presented as mean ± SD, frequency and percentage, median (interquartile range) and p-values were calculated using independent sample t-test, Chi-square test, and Mann Whitney test, appropriately.
The associated factors of CKD in the overall sample, in the groups with normal weight, overweight, and obesity using simple logistic regression models.
