Abstract
BACKGROUND: Patients with primary malignant bone tumors are facing different challenges in their everyday lives due to improved treatment and prolonged survival. This raises the question whether and to what extent their quality of life, body image, and self-esteem is affected by their disease. The aim of this retrospective study was to analyze the quality of life, body image and self-esteem of patients with primary malignant bone tumors compared to a healthy control group.Entities:
