Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of topical dorzolamide 2% q8h and brinzolamide 1% q8h, administered either alone (A and B, respectively) or in combination with topical timolol 0.5% q12h (C and D, respectively), on the circadian pattern of intraocular pressure (IOP), the pupil size, and heart rate in healthy cats.Entities:

Figure 1Line diagram depicting mean intraocular pressure (IOP1) in 10 healthy cats at different times of the day for days 1‐5 of the adjustment period (G) and the placebo period (P)
Figure 2Line diagram depicting mean intraocular pressure (IOP2) in 10 healthy cats at different times of the day, for days 3‐5 of topical treatment with A: dorzolamide 2% q8h; B: brinzolamide 1% q8h; C: dorzolamide 2% q8h and timolol 0.5% q12h; D: brinzolamide 1% q8h and timolol 0.5% q12h; P: placebo (artificial tears)
Results of a linear mixed‐effects regression model that compared the mean IOP2 at different times of the day during days 3‐5 of treatment with topical IOP‐lowering medication (A: dorzolamide 2% q8h; B: brinzolamide 1% q8h; C: dorzolamide 2% q8h and timolol 0.5% q12h; and D: brinzolamide 1% q8h and timolol 0.5%) with the mean IOP2 in the placebo‐treated eye in 10 healthy cats
