Abstract
BACKGROUND: Insecticide resistance poses a serious threat to insecticide-based interventions in Africa. There is a fear that resistance escalation could jeopardize malaria control efforts. Monitoring of cases of aggravation of resistance intensity and its impact on the efficacy of control tools is crucial to predict consequences of resistance.Entities:

B, Susceptibility profile in 2017 for both males and females. C, Synergist assay with piperonyl butoxide (n = 4). D, Time-point mortality rates for permethrin with estimation of the median lethal time (LT50) at 1 hour 45 minutes. Error bars represent standard error of the mean. Abbreviations: DDT, dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane; PBO, piperonyl butoxide.
