The basic Model was constructed using the variables: Glucose, body mass index (BMI), systolic blood pressure (SBP), high-density lipoprotein (HDL) for males and waist:hip ratio, Glucose, SBP, apolipoprotein B and total cholesterol:hdl ratio for females. Each Area-under-the-Curve (AUC) was compared to that of the basic models.
