Abstract
BACKGROUND: Insufficient vigilance for renal insufficiency is associated with late referral, increased morbidity and mortality. The present study examines whether increased vigilance for chronic kidney disease (CKD) leads to quicker referral to and better follow-up by a nephrologist, and whether it is associated with an improved outcome.Entities:
