Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Elderly adults with heart failure (HF) may have problems with self-care behaviors because of cognitive deficits. Self-care deficits have been found to be significantly associated with negative health care outcomes among HF patients. The aim of this paper was to assess cognitive deficits and the level of self-care ability in elderly patients with HF, and to determine if a relationship exists between cognitive deficits and self-care.Entities:

Notes: The R2 coefficient for the model was 48.61%, meaning that the variables included in the model account for 48.61% of variance in MMSE scores; the remaining 51.39% depends on variables not included in the model or random factors. The R2 coefficient for the model was 40.60%, meaning that the variables included in the model account for 40.60% of variance in EHFSc scores; the remaining 59.40% depends on variables not included in the model or random factors.
