Abstract
Plasma mannose levels are elevated in subjects with insulin resistance independently of obesity. Here, we found that elevated plasma mannose levels are strong markers of future risk of several chronic diseases including T2D, CVD, and albuminuria, and that it may contribute to their development rather than just being a novel biomarker.Entities:
