Abstract
BACKGROUND: In an effort to improve the screening and diagnosis of individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), research has focused on the identification of a unique neurodevelopmental profile characteristic of this population. The objective of this review was to identify any existing neurodevelopmental profiles of FASD and review their classification function in order to identify gaps and limitations of the current literature.Entities:

aEstimated by the current author, using a binomial distribution
bIt is assumed that children with FASD were compared to children for whom a diagnosis could not be confirmed or was deferred in combination with control children (methods and results sections were inadequate to determine if this assumption is correct)
cItems 3, 9, and 10 (lie/cheat, steal at home, and steal outside the home) were excluded from the analysis due to the inability to verify these items in most young children
