Abstract
The angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, captopril, enalapril and perindopril, exert antiarrhythmic effects on early post-infarction arrhythmias in anaesthetized rats. These studies support the hypothesis that converting enzyme inhibitors could have a "cardioprotective" effect, but the doses used are probably "high" in relation to those therapeutically applicable to man.Entities:
