Abstract
Multidrug-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae is a top threat to public health. In November 2015, UCLA Health introduced a rapid gyrase A (gyrA) genotypic assay for prediction of Neisseria gonorrhoeae susceptibility to ciprofloxacin. We found a significant reduction in ceftriaxone use with a concomitant increase in targeted therapy.Entities:
