Abstract
BACKGROUND: Valid objective measurement is integral to increasing our understanding of physical activity and sedentary behaviours. However, no population-specific cut points have been calibrated for children with intellectual disabilities. Therefore, this study aimed to calibrate and cross-validate the first population-specific accelerometer intensity cut points for children with intellectual disabilities.Entities:

Description of activity protocol.
| Phase | Description of main activities | Approximate time (min) | Intensity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warm up | Active stretches, walking, jogging | 10 | Light/moderate |
| Instruction games | Moving around the hall following instructions from the researcher, e.g. star jump, touch floor. | 10 | Moderate |
| Obstacle games | Short courses included various aerobic activities, e.g. agility ladder, zig-zag cones, bench jumps. | 10 | Vigorous |
| Team games | Dodge ball and tag. | 15 | Vigorous |
