Abstract
BACKGROUND: Although the effectiveness of therapist-guided internet-based cognitive behaviour therapy (ICBT) for treating depression has been well documented, knowledge of outcome predictors and risk factors associated with lower treatment response is limited, especially when the treatment has been conducted within a naturalistic clinical setting. Identification of such factors is important for clinicians when making treatment recommendations.Entities:

**, p < ∙01 and
*, p < ∙05.
a Values represent standardized beta coefficients predicting the effect on the rate of change (slope) in self-rated symptoms of depression (MADRS-S) over the full course of treatment. Negative values indicate greater change during treatment.
b Values represent standardized coefficients predicting the effect on MADRS-S at post-treatment. Negative values indicate lower estimated post-treatment scores.
