Abstract
Mitosis is the process responsible for segregation of the duplicated genome into 2 new daughter cells. We recently identified an important function of the protein TopBP1 during mitosis by showing that TopBP1 suppresses transmission of DNA damage to daughter cells. Here, we further discuss the implications of our findings.Entities:
