A pin stripper was inserted into the free end of the distal SSV and pushed downward. (B, C) The SSV and stripper were easily localized and grasped with mosquito forceps through a incision at the mid-calf. (D) The pin stripper was then pulled upward 2–3 cm to exteriorize the SSV and the distal portion was clamped with mosquito forceps. (E) The pin stripper was then pushed through the SSV. (F) The pin stripper was delivered along with the inverted vein through the incision at the mid-calf. SSV, small saphenous vein.
