The logistic model used MRSA swab result as the dependent variable. The independent variables included methicillin susceptibility of blood culture along with the covariates listed above. CIs are likelihood ratio-based CIs. Both sensitivity and specificity can be derived from the coefficients of the model, as described by Coughlin et (26).
