Abstract
BACKGROUND: Human factors account for the majority of adverse events in both aviation and medicine. Human factors awareness training entitled "Crew Resource Management (CRM)" is associated with improved aviation safety. We determined whether implementation of CRM impacts outcome in critically ill patients.Entities:

P value calculated by Kruskal–Wallis test or chi‐square test, except for SMR data for which the difference between the baseline and post‐implementation year was calculated as described previously.18, 19 *Difficult intubation was defined as more than three intubation efforts or an intubation duration of > 10 min.
