Abstract
We first discuss several key technical issues associated with quantitative dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI), and then provide examples of DCE-MRI in oncology. In particular, we examine the importance of both active and passive delivery of the contrast agent to the tissue under investigation, and repeatability/reproducibility in DCE-MRI studies. We then discuss examples of how DCE-MRI can assist in assessing and predicting therapeutic response in the neoadjuvant setting.Entities:
