Abstract
An ongoing debate exists between proponents of single or double lung transplantation for end-stage pulmonary disease. Short-term and long-term outcomes, as well as individual and societal benefits are some of the key considerations. This article examines the evidence that directly compares these two approaches and informs the debate about the relative merits of single and bilateral transplantation.Entities:
